Residential Development Solicitor (Social Housing)
Location: London | Salary: £85-100,000 (DOE) | PQE: 16+ years
About the Role
Following the continued success and growth of its Residential Development team, we are looking to appoint an experienced Solicitor to lead on a diverse and high‑quality caseload of social housing matters. The role involves advising on a broad range of work, including planning, development and investment transactions, secured lending, and selected landlord and tenant matters, providing excellent exposure to complex and impactful projects within the sector.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 6 years’ PQE with strong technical expertise across all aspects of residential development law.
- Valuable experience within the social housing sector; an established client base or network is advantageous, but not essential.
- Mentoring and developing junior colleagues, using commercial awareness to identify new opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
- Ability to contribute to thought‑leadership and social‑housing‑focused marketing initiatives to shape the firm’s presence.
