We are recruiting a Business Development Manager to develop, manage and convert a robust pipeline of new business opportunities, driving significant revenue growth across our Industrial Services and National Bulk Liquid Tanker operations.

This role involves close collaboration with the General Manager of Tankers and wider commercial teams within the Specialist Services division, ensuring alignment with operational capabilities and strategic growth plans.

You will play a pivotal role in enhancing sales performance through structured, strategic management of business development activities, while ensuring the business remains at the forefront of service delivery, innovation, and operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record in business development within industrial services, waste management, or tanker logistics
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and convert profitable opportunities
  • Experience within sectors such as Industrial & Commercial, Hazardous Waste, Bulk Liquids, or Environmental Services is highly desirable
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation abilities
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess challenges and implement effective solutions
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external clients
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team strategy
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines
  • Full UK driving licence (required)
