Group Legal provides strategic and pragmatic legal support across construction projects, commercial contracting and property matters. We work closely with Developments, Operations, Finance, Compliance and Procurement to manage legal risk, support strong governance, and enable timely, value‑for‑money decision‑making.
Transforming PLC is seeking an experienced Commercial and Property Solicitor – General Counsel with solid construction experience to lead legal strategy across construction, commercial and property matters. This high‑impact role shapes legal governance, protects the organisation’s interests, and enables safe, compliant delivery across the Group.
What you’ll lead:
- Strong Legal leadership experience across construction, commercial contracts, and property
- JCT/NEC contracting, procurement, and governance
- Property transactions, leases, and due diligence
- Dispute resolution and external counsel management
- Legal processes, templates, training, and capability building
What you’ll bring:
- Qualified solicitor with strong experience in UK construction, commercial, and property law
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Pragmatic, solutions‑focused approach to risk and governance
- Ability to advise senior leaders and balance pace with compliance
