Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:15pm and Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm, with flexibility required to meet the needs of the role.

The Role

This is a key commercial role responsible for driving sales and employer engagement activity across West Yorkshire (Selby through Leeds to Sheffield).

You’ll take ownership of your own territory, managing a pipeline of opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and delivering a first‑class consultative sales experience to employers across engineering and manufacturing sectors.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering a consultative sales approach across apprenticeship and training solutions
  • Managing and developing a pipeline of opportunities to achieve personal sales targets
  • Building strong, long‑term relationships with employers and key accounts
  • Delivering engaging sales presentations and proposals to prospects and clients
  • Attending meetings with employers, stakeholders, and industry contacts
  • Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date CRM records of all activity
  • Gathering and sharing market intelligence to support business strategy
  • Supporting and attending events, exhibitions, open days and promotional activities
  • Contributing to team activity, meetings and wider organisational initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in business development, key account management, or employer engagement
  • Strong consultative sales skills and ability to influence at all levels
  • Confident presenting and building credibility with clients
  • Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and commercially aware
  • Comfortable managing your own territory in a home‑based role
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Experience in a similar role and sector would be a distinct advantage

You’ll ideally be based centrally within West Yorkshire, given the regional coverage of the role.
