An exciting opportunity to join our Housing Management Team as a Scheme Manager to support older people to live independently in their homes.

Your impact in the role

• Provide frontline housing management services to ensure the scheme is fully compliant.
• Proactively engage with residents, visitors, and contractors to maintain positive communication channels, enhance resident wellbeing, identify support needs, and work with partner agencies to achieve appropriate outcomes.
• Encourage and support residents to create a supportive environment for themselves, friends, and other groups, embracing technology-assisted processes to enhance the Independent Living offer.

What you’ll bring

• Relevant practical experience in housing management or a customer-focused role, with knowledge of service delivery, health and safety and benefits of assisted technology.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to identify needs and provide support and guidance.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• Ability to identify problems and proactively find solutions.
• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft applications, with the ability to collate, analyse and present data.

Requirements

• A Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate is required to work within the team.
• Safeguarding checks will be undertaken as part of the hiring process.
