Quality Inspector

We are a small engineering company based in Witham, seeking a Quality Inspector to join our busy team.

Role Details

Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Pay: Up to £19 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

Contract: Temporary to permanent.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect parts from various sectors, including aerospace.
• Use measuring tools such as verniers, micrometres, and calipers.
• Operate CMM machines and PC‑DMIS software.
• Maintain calibrated items and ensure all measurement instruments remain in reliable working condition.
• Identify and report non‑conformities, support root‑cause investigations, and contribute to corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

• Experience in quality inspection.
• Proficiency with CMM equipment.
• F.A.I.R.S experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
