Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Product Quality & Compliance Lead (or Head Of) to establish and scale a robust quality function within a growing, multi-category consumer brand. The role will focus on creating clear standards, processes and governance across jewellery, watches and accessory products and requires strong knowledge and experience within these product categories. Operating across Product, Supply Chain and Customer functions, this position is responsible for bringing structure, consistency, and accountability to quality processes. The successful candidate will interpret technical and regulatory requirements and translate them into practical, scalable processes, ensuring products consistently meet required standards while supporting broader commercial objectives and growth. Based in the London Head Office 3 days a week.

Main Responsibilities

  • Defining and implementing a scalable quality and compliance framework across multiple product categories
  • Translating technical standards and testing requirements into clear, operational processes for internal teams and suppliers
  • Owning supplier quality, including onboarding standards, communication frameworks and ongoing performance management
  • Leading testing protocols, audits, and quality control processes across a global supplier base
  • Embedding quality considerations throughout the full product lifecycle in partnership with Product, Buying and Merchandising teams
  • Reviewing and challenging existing testing plans and QC approaches to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant UK, EU and international regulatory requirements
  • Using data and customer feedback to identify trends, reduce defects and improve product performance
  • Driving consistency and accountability in quality standards across internal teams and external partners
  • Supporting the development of a culture focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence

Person Specification

  • Strong experience within jewellery, watches or closely related product categories, with understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
  • Proven track record of building or scaling quality assurance, testing or compliance frameworks
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory and testing standards (e.g. REACH, Nickel, product safety requirements)
  • Experience working with global suppliers, including onboarding, audits and compliance management
  • Commercially aware, with a data-driven mindset
