Salary: £50,000 – £80,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission (OTE £100k+)

The Role

As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a defined territory, focusing on both new business development and account growth, while providing technical expertise to clients.

• Developing new business opportunities within the commercial and industrial roofing sector
• Selling into contractors, specifiers, local authorities, and end users
• Providing technical advice and product specifications to clients
• Managing and growing existing customer accounts
• Increasing revenue from underperforming or dormant accounts
• Building a strong pipeline through cold calling and territory planning
• Delivering against agreed sales targets, KPIs, and revenue objectives

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Experience in technical sales / field sales / area sales within construction or flat roofing
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems or building envelope products
• A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Experience in new business development and territory management
• Ability to provide technical support and specification guidance
• Confidence in cold calling and lead generation
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A highly motivated, target-driven, and ambitious mindset
