Electrical Contracts Manager – Surrey / Sussex border (covering 2 sites)
Our client, a reputable M & E contractor, is looking to recruit an Electrical Contracts Manager to support continued success and growth. This role offers the opportunity to develop a career within a progressive and successful business.
Working pattern: site visits once per week, remote work 2–3 days per week, and 1 day per week in the office.
Salary: up to £75,000 plus package depending on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager and relevant trade qualifications
- Successful experience on electrical projects ranging from £50,000 to £1.5 million
- Experience delivering electrical packages on commercial new‑build developments, including new build care homes, hotel fit‑outs, and high‑rise residential projects
- Valid driving licence
- CSCS card
- Good working knowledge of Excel and Word
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients and design teams, and liaise with architects and consultants
- Carry out site visits and surveys, and prepare reports
- Manage site labour and sub‑contractors
- Manage contract costs and variations, including procurement
- Work flexibly on multiple projects simultaneously
- Travel to main office and site as required
- Work under own initiative, remain self‑motivated, and act as a team player
