Test Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Engage in the complete product testing process, from requirements and design review to test planning, execution, defect tracking, and quality analysis.
• Be responsible for the overall quality of the system under test, and proactively innovate testing processes to enhance the quality and efficiency of the entire R&D team.
• Develop and perform compatibility tests for diverse network environments in Southeast Asian countries, accounting for variations in local carriers, latency, and bandwidth.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of software testing experience. Experience with financial, payment, or e-commerce projects is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Agile development methodologies, and common testing techniques, with the ability to work independently on testing tasks.
• Genuine passion for software testing, backed by relevant experience. Strong problem identification and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.

Core Competency

A strong understanding and sensitivity to the cultures, user habits, and market characteristics of key Southeast Asian countries. Prior experience living, working, or handling projects related to the region will be a significant advantage.
