Chief Engineer

Boluda Towage UK is seeking to hire a Chief Engineer to join our dedicated crew in Liverpool. You’ll be responsible for ensuring all onboard equipment and systems are maintained, compliant, and ready for operation.

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on vessel systems and equipment
• Ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, HSE-Q, and other regulations
• Plan and order spare parts, consumables, and inspections in a timely manner
• Collaborate with crew to maintain high operational standards

What we’re looking for

• Nautical school graduate with mandatory company training
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably on a tugboat
• Certified Engineer aligned with vessel and operational area requirements
• Valid medical and training certificates (STCW Basic Safety Training)
• Compliance with Local Manning Act and flag state regulations
