We’re partnering with a leading global insurer to appoint a senior leader to drive Digital underwriting operations within a fast-growing UK Broker channel.
This is a high-impact role sitting at the centre of digital growth strategy—leading a team, shaping underwriting operations, and delivering real commercial results in an increasingly digitised market.
The opportunity
You’ll lead a Digital underwriting team, taking ownership of performance, productivity, and operational excellence. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in delivering growth targets, enhancing broker experience, and launching new digital products aligned to a forward-thinking roadmap.

What you’ll be doing
- Leading and developing a cross-class Digital underwriting team
- Driving quote, conversion, and GWP growth targets
- Streamlining underwriting and operational processes through technology
- Partnering with Broker Distribution and senior stakeholders to deliver strategy
- Enhancing digital trading, broker journeys, and service delivery
- Supporting product launches aligned to digital roadmap
- Using data and MI to drive performance and continuous improvement
What we’re looking for
- Strong background in commercial insurance underwriting or trading
- Proven leadership experience within a broker or digital environment
- Track record of delivering growth and operational performance
- Confident using data to drive decisions and improve outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management and commercial mindset
- Experience working in or alongside digital insurance platforms
