About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Advanced Specialist to join our Compliance and Operations (Investigations) team. This is a senior role responsible for leading and conducting investigations into suspected malpractice across International, UK, General Qualifications (GQ), and Vocational Qualifications (VQ) centres.

You will play a key role in safeguarding the integrity of our qualifications by investigating issues such as teacher and centre malpractice, maladministration, breaches of security, and non-compliance with regulatory requirements.

In addition to managing complex investigations, you will provide leadership, guidance, and support to other Specialists within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct investigations
  • Ensure investigations are completed in a timely, effective, and compliant manner
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to Specialists across the Investigations team
  • Monitor investigation quality and consistency across designated areas
  • Support Team Managers in resolving complex cases and improving working practices
  • Contribute to reporting, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Deliver training to colleagues and other departments where required
  • Collaborate with teams across Compliance and Operations and wider business

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in an investigative role (ideally within education) is essential
  • Experience working in a regulated environment
  • Report writing and analytical experience
  • Experience reviewing data and drawing evidence-based conclusions
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience desirable
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
