Zachary Daniels is exclusively working with an exquisite Store in the heart of Exeter. This rare opportunity is one not to be missed, they are looking for a dynamic, client focused Store Manager to head up the stunning location where you will be at the sharp end of our client’s retail portfolio.

The ideal candidate will ideally have a strong fashion or accessory background, excellent commercial focus and is used to managing a larger team.

Roles and Responsibilities as a Store Manager

  • As the Store Manager of the high‑profile flagship, you will be part of the senior area leadership team and will work on a series of national and local events and meetings.
  • You will nurture the client experience to the highest levels and work closely with the team to help drive sales, build lasting loyalty to the Brand.
  • Manage and motivate the team to consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual store sales plan.
  • Drive client development activities among individual team members to cultivate new and existing clients.
  • Operationally, you will manage efficient back‑of‑house team and ensure consistency with established operational procedures.
  • Identify and execute efficiencies and best practices. Ensure compliance with all internal control procedures.

Other Store Manager Duties Include

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing initiatives to drive traffic to the store and increase sales.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the retail fashion market, including trends, competitors, and customer preferences.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in retail management.
  • We will consider applications from Area Managers or Regional Managers who want to focus on a single store opportunity.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a high‑performing team.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
