Data Science Analyst – Revenue Growth Management, Permanent

At Costa Coffee we are building new pricing tools to empower our global markets with insightful analysis.

What you’ll do

  • Responsible for collecting, cleaning, modelling, analyzing and reporting data from various sources, and creating data visualizations and dashboards.
  • Perform exploratory and descriptive data analysis to identify patterns, trends, outliers, and anomalies.
  • Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to build predictive and prescriptive models and test hypotheses.
  • Use feature engineering to create new data points that leverage the data to the best of our ability.
  • Communicate data findings and insights to internal and external stakeholders using clear and concise language and storytelling.

Who you are

  • Proven experience in marketing, consumer, or data science analytics roles, ideally within Retail, QSR, or Consumer Services.
  • Strong academic background in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Advanced programming skills (e.g., PySpark, SQL, Python) with ability to develop and deploy production‑level models and code.
  • Experience with the Azure ecosystem (e.g., Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps) and containerization tools like Docker highly desirable.
  • Curious, analytical and solutions‑focused mindset. Comfortable navigating complexity, able to juggle large datasets, interrogate data signals, and proactively identify risks and opportunities.

Location

Support Centre teams work flexibly, blending home working with in‑person time. In January 2027 the team will relocate to a new facility in St Albans, where they will work three days a week onsite.
