The position focuses on building and nurturing relationships with a mix of high-profile privately owned groups and private equity-backed businesses, while also helping to identify and convert new commercial opportunities across the market. Key responsibilities Take responsibility for a varied client portfolio, including privately owned businesses and PE-backed organisations, providing advice on complex taxation matters Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key internal stakeholders Work collaboratively across different teams to deliver multi-faceted projects and client initiatives Stay fully up to date with UK tax developments and relevant international tax changes, applying this knowledge in client work Requirements: ACA and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent international qualification) Strong grounding in UK tax, with exposure to selected international tax matters Experience dealing with complex tax issues in privately owned businesses, family enterprises, or private equity environments Strong project management capability with the ability to manage multiple assignments at once Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and mentoring junior team members Excellent written communication skills, including the preparation of technical reports and advisory papers For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career, get in touch with James McKenna @ HIREIQ for a confidential chat.
