We are looking to strengthen our recruitment team with the appointment of experienced Recruitment Consultants from temporary healthcare recruitment backgrounds.
This opportunity is suitable for recruiters with experience across Medical Locums, Nursing, AHP, HSS, Complex Care, Social Care or other relevant temporary healthcare staffing sectors.
The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant at ProMedical, you will take ownership of your desk, managing clients, candidates, vacancies, bookings and placement activity within your specialist market.
You will join an established healthcare recruitment business with access to existing client relationships, active vacancies, a large candidate database, professional networking platforms, website advertising and dedicated operational support.
This is a 360 recruitment role, but you will be supported by experienced Compliance, Operations, Pay & Bill and Bookings teams, allowing you to focus on building relationships, developing business and growing a successful desk.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Develop existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Source, interview and place candidates into suitable temporary healthcare roles.
- Build and manage a strong candidate pipeline.
- Manage vacancies, bookings and placement activity.
- Negotiate pay rates in line with agreed commercial terms.
- Work closely with Compliance to progress candidate onboarding.
- Collaborate with Bookings and Operations teams to support successful placements.
- Deliver a professional service to candidates and clients.
- Develop a profitable and sustainable recruitment desk.
About You
We are particularly interested in speaking with recruiters who have experience in temporary healthcare recruitment, including:
- Medical Locums
- Nursing
- Allied Health Professionals (AHP)
- Health Science Services (HSS)
- Complex Care
- Social Care
- Other healthcare staffing sectors
We will also consider experienced recruiters from other temporary recruitment sectors where there is a strong track record of desk ownership, business development, candidate management and billing.
You should be commercially minded, organised, resilient and confident speaking with both candidates and clients.
