Freelance Architectural Technologist

Location = UK

Rate = £28 to £32 per hour

Contract = 12-Month

Work Pattern = Remote / Hybrid

The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist to join a leading design team working on high-profile aviation projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong individual with Revit expertise to contribute to complex, large-scale infrastructure schemes.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and manage detailed architectural drawings using Revit
• Support the delivery of aviation projects from concept through to construction
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design integration
• Prepare technical details, specifications, and construction documentation
• Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and industry standards

Essential Skills

• Strong proficiency in Revit (advanced user)
• 5 years’ experience as an Architectural Technologist
• Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and industry standards
• Ability to work independently in a remote / hybrid environment
• Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience specifically within the aviation sector
• Knowledge of airport design standards and regulations
• Experience using additional design tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Navisworks)
• Prior freelance / contract experience
