An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager to join a successful, established business that supplies products into a diverse customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team to deliver ambitious sales, profitability and customer service targets
  • Develop and implement commercial sales strategies that drive sustainable business growth and maximise market opportunities
  • Analyse sales performance, forecasts and market trends to identify opportunities, improve results and support strategic decision-making
  • Take ownership of pricing strategy and key customer relationships, ensuring profitability is maximised while delivering exceptional customer value
  • Drive collaboration and continuous improvement across the sales function, introducing new processes that enhance efficiency and the customer experience
  • Monitor competitor activity and market developments, fostering a positive, accountable and customer-focused sales culture that delivers long-term success

About You:

  • Previous experience in a Sales Manager or similar commercial leadership role
  • A proven track record of leading, motivating and developing successful sales teams
  • Experience selling physical products within manufacturing, automotive, engineering, steel or another product-led environment
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills, with experience interpreting sales data, forecasting and driving business performance
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • A proactive, hands-on leadership style, with a passion for coaching people and continuously improving performance
