New Business Sales Executive – Apparel & Licensed Merchandise

We’re looking for a commercially minded New Business Sales Executive with experience in apparel, fashion, merchandise, or promotional products to join our growing team.

In this fast-paced, customer-focused role, you’ll build strategic partnerships with leading brands, music industry clients, and retailers, delivering innovative merchandise solutions that combine quality, speed, and exceptional service.

What you’ll be doing

  • Drive sales growth by developing existing customer accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Buyers, Merchandisers, Tour Managers, Licensing Partners, and other key decision-makers.
  • Identify opportunities to expand product ranges, increase account penetration, and maximise revenue.
  • Manage commercial performance, including pricing, margins, forecasting, and achieving sales targets.
  • Work closely with internal design, production, and operations teams to deliver high-quality merchandise solutions within demanding timescales.
  • Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour, artist merchandise activity, and competitor performance to uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Lead customer meetings, presentations, and business reviews to strengthen relationships and win new business.
  • Oversee project timelines, critical paths, and order management to ensure seamless delivery across multiple customer accounts.

What we’re looking for

  • At least 2 years’ experience in business development, sales, or account management within apparel, fashion, merchandise, promotional products, or a related industry.
  • A proven track record of identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing pricing, margins, and sales performance.
  • Experience working in fast-paced customer environments where speed-to-market and service excellence are essential.
  • Knowledge of music merchandise, licensing, touring, retail, or promotional products would be a distinct advantage.
  • A history of achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with sound commercial judgement.
  • A proactive, creative, and trend-aware approach with an understanding of evolving consumer markets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a full UK driving licence.
