Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a profitable commercial portfolio across Scotland
• Build strong, long‑term relationships with brokers in the Glasgow market
• Underwrite new business and renewals within authority limits
• Identify market opportunities and contribute to regional growth plans
• Provide technical insight, product knowledge, and commercial guidance
• Collaborate with wider underwriting, sales, and leadership teams

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Commercial Underwriter or Development Underwriter
• Strong broker relationship‑building skills and commercial acumen
• Ability to assess, price, and negotiate risks confidently
• Knowledge of the Scottish commercial insurance market
