Job Description:
Shire Healthcare are working with a reputable and leading provider of specialist care and education recruiting for a Psychological Therapist to be based in a specialist school in Cumbria.
About the employer:
This employer is an independent leading provider of specialist care and education. They work with children and young people in either an educational and/or residential setting who present a complexity of needs including developmental trauma, neuro-developmental conditions, autism, ADHD, and special educational needs.
Role snapshot:
The post holder will join a multidisciplinary clinical team, supporting children and young people with complex needs in a specialist education setting in Cumbria. They will work across education and care environments to deliver assessment-informed interventions and support formulation and care planning.
Contract type – term-time working
Hours – Full-time
Term time salary – £37,500 – £45,250
Experience required:
Candidates applying will have HCPC registration or BACP accreditation along with experience working with young people who present with neurodevelopmental needs such as Autism, SEMH, ADHD and learning disabilities. Those who are working towards accreditation will be considered.
