Sprinkler Design Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sprinkler Design Engineer to join our fire protection engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing automatic fire sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, residential, and institutional projects while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, client specifications, and project requirements.

The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of fire protection systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilitie

• sDesign automatic fire sprinkler systems in accordance with applicable local, national, and international codes and standards
• .Produce detailed sprinkler layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, or specialist sprinkler design software
• .Perform hydraulic calculations and system analysis
• .Prepare design drawings, material schedules, fabrication packages, and installation documentation
• .Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to coordinate sprinkler layouts
• .Ensure designs comply with NFPA, LPCB, FM Global, BS EN, or other applicable standards
• .Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams
• .Attend design coordination meetings and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle
• .Review project specifications and identify design risks or opportunities
• .Support procurement by preparing bills of materials and equipment schedules
• .Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and resolve design-related issues during installation
• .Conduct design reviews and quality assurance checks before issue
• .Assist with value engineering initiatives to improve efficiency while maintaining compliance
• .Maintain accurate project documentation and design records
