Programme Manager – Contract Mobilisation

East Midlands

12-month FTC

£80,000 – £90,000 + completion bonus

We are supporting a leading architecture, design and built environment consultancy with the appointment of a Senior Project Manager to lead a major business mobilisation programme.

The business is embarking on a significant strategic growth initiative to establish a new operating division, supporting the mobilisation and integration of major project delivery capability from India into the UK business.

Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, this is a highly visible role responsible for coordinating the programme from initial planning through to operational readiness.

The role will involve building the mobilisation plan, establishing governance, coordinating multiple workstreams and ensuring the business is ready to deliver at scale. You will work across HR, IT, Finance, Operations, Commercial and Legal to make sure each function is aligned, on track and clear on what needs to be delivered.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the mobilisation of a new business division
  • Coordinating the integration of India-based delivery capability into the UK business
  • Developing the overall programme plan, milestones, dependencies and critical path
  • Establishing governance, reporting structures, project controls and RAID management
  • Coordinating workstreams across HR, IT, Finance, Operations, Commercial and Legal
  • Supporting business readiness, operational processes and go-live planning
  • Preparing executive updates, reports and presentations for the CEO and leadership team
  • Driving accountability across workstream leads and ensuring delivery remains on track
  • Supporting communication and change activity across UK and India teams
  • Managing the transition from mobilisation into business-as-usual operations

We are looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience delivering complex business mobilisation, transformation or organisational change programmes
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams across different business functions
  • Strong programme governance, reporting, planning and project control experience
  • Confidence working directly with CEO / Executive Leadership stakeholders
  • Strong planning, scheduling, dependency and risk management skills
  • Experience coordinating HR, IT, Finance, Operations or Commercial workstreams
  • The ability to bring structure, pace and clarity to an evolving environment
  • Strong Microsoft Project, Excel and Microsoft 365 capability

Experience establishing new business operations, supporting international delivery models or working across UK/offshore teams would be highly advantageous.

This would suit a calm, pragmatic and highly organised Senior Project Manager / Programme Manager who is confident operating at executive level and can turn strategic objectives into practical, deliverable plans.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a salary of £80,000 – £90,000 plus a completion bonus, based in the East Midlands.
