Contract: Initial 3 Months (Likely Extension)
Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Quantity Surveyor to join a leading organisation within the utilities and infrastructure sector on an initial three-month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a busy commercial team supporting a significant portfolio of projects. Although the initial assignment is for three months, there is a strong likelihood of extension due to the volume of ongoing work and future project demand.
The Role
As an Interim Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring robust cost management and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects.
- Administering contracts and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- Preparing and reviewing valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Monitoring project costs, budgets and forecasts.
- Supporting change management and risk mitigation.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors and suppliers.
- Producing accurate commercial reports and cost analysis.
About You
We’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, utilities, construction or major capital projects.
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
- Experience managing project costs and commercial reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
