As we enter the next phase of growth, we are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial professional to join us as a UK Sales & Operations Executive.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of both commercial growth and operational management within a growing international ingredients business.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
✔ Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK market
✔ Conduct customer meetings, product presentations, and commercial negotiations
✔ Represent AQF at trade exhibitions, networking events, and industry conferences
✔ Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements
Customer Relationship Management
✔ Act as the primary point of contact for UK customers
✔ Manage customer accounts and orders from enquiry through delivery
✔ Follow up on customer payments and maintain healthy accounts receivable
✔ Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and after-sales support
Operations & Logistics
✔ Manage end-to-end UK import operations
✔ Coordinate deliveries with logistics providers and customer dispatch teams
✔ Resolve logistics and supply chain issues to ensure uninterrupted service
Inventory & Supply Planning
✔ Monitor warehouse inventory and maintain stock records
✔ Plan stock replenishment based on sales forecasts and demand
Compliance & Reporting
✔ Support UK import compliance activities
✔ Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, inventory, and customer communications
✔ Prepare sales, inventory, operational, and performance reports for management
✔ Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
✔ Experience in Food Ingredients, Spices, Seasonings, Food Manufacturing, Pet Food Ingredients, or related industries
✔ Strong business development and account management skills
✔ Experience managing import, logistics, or supply chain operations in the UK
✔ Ability to work independently and take ownership of business results
✔ Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems
