Lecturer in Digital and Computing at Norfolk House within Higher Education

 

18 hours per week, to be worked over 2.5 days per week, likely to be Tuesday and a Thursday, plus one other, 52 weeks per year

 

Salary £34,421 – £41,074 per annum (Actual salary £17,210 – £20,537 per annum)

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the School of Higher Education to join our Access to Higher Education and Higher Education Digital and Computing delivery team. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lecturer to deliver across two programmes. This role involves teaching, learning, and assessment across areas such as:

 

·      Digital technology

·      Digital sustainability

·      Software Development

·      Databases, Data Structures and Big Data

·      Programming and Advanced programming

·      Cybersecurity

·      Networking

·      Cloud Security and Cryptology

·      Artificial Intelligence

 

You will contribute to the delivery of HNC (HTQ) programme Digital Technologies (Cyber security and Cloud Networking and Software Development and Programming pathways), while also delivering on the Access to Computing CAVA course.

 

The ideal candidate will have relevant industry experience and at least a degree in a related field. Teaching experience is desirable, but full training in teaching, learning, and assessment will be provided.
