Operational Performance Manager – Up to £60K + Bonus

We’re partnering with an organisation delivering a major UK infrastructure programme and are looking for an experienced Operational Performance Manager to drive operational excellence across a complex, national delivery programme.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in improving operational performance, managing supplier delivery, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring key programme targets are achieved.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing end-to-end operational performance across the delivery pipeline
- Driving supplier and contractor performance against KPIs and SLAs
- Leading operational recovery plans and backlog reduction initiatives
- Managing risks, issues and escalations to keep delivery on track
- Using operational data and insights to improve performance
- Working cross-functionally to deliver operational and system improvements
- Reporting performance and recovery plans to senior stakeholders
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in operational performance management within utilities, infrastructure or service delivery
- Strong supplier and contractor management experience
- Excellent understanding of KPI, SLA and operational performance management
- Experience delivering operational improvements and recovery plans
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to influence and drive change
Desirable experience:
- Utilities, energy or smart metering
- Regulated environments
- NEC contracts
- Power BI or similar reporting tools
