Construction Partner / Manchester, Finchley or Reading

This position offers the autonomy to build and develop a practice with the backing of an established Property and Commercial team, making it ideal for a Partner or ambitious Solicitor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the firm’s Construction practice, advising on both contentious and non-contentious construction and engineering matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of construction contracts, including standard form and bespoke agreements, professional appointments, warranties and security documentation.
• Advise clients through construction disputes, including adjudication, arbitration and litigation.
• Work closely with the Property and Commercial teams to provide construction law expertise on development projects and real estate transactions.
• Build long-term client relationships and identify opportunities to expand the practice through business development and cross-referrals.
