A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join one of the East Midlands’ most established and highly regarded multi-office law firms.
Following the planned retirement of a senior team member, the firm is seeking an ambitious lawyer ready to step into a leadership position, with a clear and genuine pathway towards Partnership and ultimately Head of Department.
From day one, you will inherit a strong pipeline of high-quality work and join a collaborative, well-supported team with an excellent regional reputation.
The Role
You will advise a broad range of commercial clients across a varied real estate caseload, including:
- Commercial acquisitions and disposals
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Lease negotiations and renewals
- Development and investment transactions
- Property finance
- Portfolio and asset management
- Licences and easements
- General commercial property matters
Alongside managing your own caseload, you will take on a key role in mentoring junior lawyers, supporting business development activity, and contributing to the strategic growth of the department.

- 4+ PQE Commercial Property Solicitor
- Strong technical expertise across commercial real estate matters
- Confident managing client relationships independently
- Keen to take on leadership responsibility
- Ambitious, with a long-term view to progression
