About the role

Cambridgeshire County Council is committed to helping people live healthy, safe and independent lives. We are looking for a motivated Contract Management Officer to support the delivery of key highways contracts that underpin vital services across the county.

You will play a key role in managing and monitoring our Highways Term Service Contract, ensuring strong performance, value for money, and delivery aligned with corporate priorities. Working within the Highways Commercial & Contract Management Team youll collaborate across the council to ensure services are effective, efficient and fit for purpose.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong stakeholder skills and the ability to navigate complex environments to drive positive outcomes.

About you

You will have:

  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, with confidence working with data
  • Knowledge of highways contracts, construction/civils, programme management and supplier engagement
  • The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Youll be motivated to make a difference in local communities and keen to learn and develop within a supportive team.
