Position Overview
We are looking for a Project Manager to act as the Calian UK Ltd focal point for all project management activities throughout the duration of the ACTS Subcontract with RUK and lead the implementation of the Subcontractor Statement of Work (SSoW).
As part of the Army Collective Training Services (ACTS) programme, you will support the transformation of the British Army’s training system by delivering Audiences, Actors, Adversaries, Enemies and Specialists Supporting Services (A3ES) alongside leading defence training organisations.

Responsibilities
Manage Calian UK Ltd’s contribution to ACTS.
Fulfil all project management activities related to the services provided.
Direct Calian UK Ltd personnel responsible for the delivery of A3ES deliverables, achieving and where possible exceeding mandated performance standards.
Manage project costs in line with project revenue.
Build trust and confidence through close working relationships with colleagues across Calian UK Ltd, RUK, partners, suppliers, and military personnel.
Manage Calian UK Ltd resources against competing priorities.
Ensure adherence to Calian UK Ltd Quality Management Procedures.
Line manage personnel as instructed.
Deploy to military training exercises and activities within the UK and overseas as required to support the delivery of A3ES.
Qualifications
Experience operating within joint or matrixed teams.
Experience in project management with a PRINCE2 qualification and ideally an APMP qualification.
Ability to communicate effectively with military and industry partners.
Demonstrated track record of delivering outcomes with a focus on operational and performance excellence.
Understanding of military individual and collective training regime requirements.
Ability to work effectively with short-notice requirements and periods of surge activity.
Ability to generate and manage multiple work packages concurrently.
Understanding of the training and operational demands for which individuals and force elements are being prepared.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work with minimal guidance beyond initial instructions while maintaining a collaborative and professional approach.
Additional Requirements
Primary work location is anticipated to be LWC, Waterloo Lines, Warminster, working Monday to Friday, 0900–1700.
Alternative work location is anticipated to be the Calian UK Ltd office at Huntingford.
Commitment to working collaboratively across multiple organisations in support of a shared mission.
Willingness to travel and deploy in support of military training activities in the UK and overseas.
Compensation
£82,500
