Banking and Finance Associate

Banking & Finance Solicitor / Associate | 3+ PQE | Birmingham | Hybrid

A leading Legal 500 Tier 1 law firm is looking to appoint a Banking & Finance Solicitor/Associate to join its highly regarded Funding team in Birmingham.

This is an opportunity to advise both lenders and borrowers on high-value, complex funding transactions across the social housing, charities, health & social care and wider social impact sectors. The team handles over £1bn of funding transactions annually, offering exposure to market-leading work and sophisticated financing structures.

The role will include:

• Acquisition and development finance
• Refinancing and structured finance transactions
• Private placements and listed bond issues
• ISDA agreements and security documentation
• Managing transactions from instruction through to completion
• Building strong client relationships with lenders and borrowers

About you:

• 3+ years’ PQE in Banking & Finance
• Strong lender-side real estate finance experience
• Exposure to capital markets or social housing finance would be advantageous
• Confident managing complex transactions and stakeholder relationships
