This brand new ICU/high-dependency unit, launching later this year, will further enhance this hospitals ability to deliver outstanding care to complex and critical patients.
As a key member of the team, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing emergency and critical care patients while supporting clinicians across all departments. Your role will be varied and hands-on, involving triage, stabilisation, advanced diagnostics, anaesthetic management, and assisting with surgical procedures. You will also contribute to the out-of-hours care rota, ensuring seamless support for hospitalised referral patients.
The ideal candidate will be MRCVS qualified and eligible to work in the UK, with a minimum of two years’ experience in primary care practice. Previous experience in ECC and/or ICU is highly desirable, along with strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities. A proactive approach to learning and professional development is essential.
In return, you will benefit from a generous salary starting from £55,000–£75,000 per annum (dependent on experience), 6.6 weeks of annual leave (including bank holidays) plus an additional day off for your birthday, and a supportive and collaborative working environment.
