Job Description:

EMEA Recruitment is partnering with a global manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Plant Manager for its flagship manufacturing site near in Wiltshire.

This is a highly visible leadership role, offering the opportunity to lead the company’s largest manufacturing site and play a key role in shaping its future. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will build on an already successful transformation programme, driving operational excellence while developing a high-performing leadership team.

Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day performance of a complex manufacturing site

Drive operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery and cost

Coach, develop and mentor the site leadership team

Continue the site’s cultural transformation, embedding a proactive, continuous improvement mindset

Build strong relationships across the business, including employee representatives and unions

Maintain a visible leadership presence on the shop floor, engaging with teams at every level

Deliver sustainable improvements in productivity, performance and profitability

About You

We are looking for an experienced manufacturing leader who can demonstrate:

Previous Plant Manager or Site Manager experience within a complex manufacturing environment

A strong engineering or technical background

A proven track record of leading operational and cultural change

Exceptional people leadership, coaching and team development skills

Experience working within a unionised manufacturing environment would be advantageous
