BTB is working exclusively with a highly respected creative events agency that has spent more than 30 years delivering exceptional live experiences for some of the world’s best-known brands and the business is now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive further growth.

This isn’t a transactional sales role as you will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with major organisations, identifying high-value opportunities and working alongside specialist creative, technical and proposal teams to convert those opportunities into long-term partnerships.

The Role will encompass many elements including:

• Identify and engage new target clients.

• Build relationships with senior decision-makers.

• Manage consultative sales cycles from initial contact through to pitch.

• Generate opportunities across conferences, exhibitions, brand experiences, roadshows and live events.

• Work closely with internal creative and technical specialists to develop winning proposals.

• Build a high-quality pipeline of strategic opportunities.

Candidates will most likely come from one of the following backgrounds:

• Live Events

• Experiential Marketing

• Brand Experience

• Event Agencies

• Creative Agencies

• Experience Agencies

• Live Communications

And it will be ‘nice to have’:

• A proven track record in new business development.

• Experience managing longer, consultative sales cycles.

• The ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.

• A genuine passion for developing new business rather than managing existing accounts.

• An understanding of the events or creative agency landscape.
