Our client A respected professional membership organisation with a strong public‑interest purpose is seeking to appoint an interim governance professional on an interim basis. The organisation operates nationally and internationally, with a clear focus on professional standards, member value and organisational accountability.
The role
- Provide hands‑on governance support within a complex, member‑led environment.
- Coordinate governance committees, including agendas, papers, logistics and accurate, timely minuting.
- Support assurance, compliance and risk oversight activities.
- Build effective working relationships across the organisation and with committee members.
- This interim assignment is expected to run for a minimum of four to six months, with potential extension.
- Hybrid working, with two days per week in the office.
The person
- Experience within a membership body or a complex charity environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly around committee coordination and minuting.
- Comfortable working in a hands‑on, fast‑moving governance function.
- Able to step into an interim role and quickly establish credibility.
