Madison Berkeley is excited to be working exclusively with a long-established private property company that has owned and invested in Central London real estate for over a century. Backed by patient capital and a genuinely long-term investment philosophy, the business has built an exceptional portfolio of office, retail and residential assets and continues to invest, refurbish and develop across some of London’s best locations.
Following the promotion of one of the existing Asset Managers into an Investment Management role, they’re now looking to appoint an Asset Manager to join their growing team.
This is an opportunity to work in a lean, high-performing business where you’ll have real ownership from day one. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll be involved in every aspect of commercial asset management whilst working alongside an experienced in-house development team and gaining exposure to acquisitions and investment decisions.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll manage a diverse commercial portfolio and take responsibility for developing and implementing business plans to maximise performance and long-term value.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing asset management strategies across office and retail assets.
- Leading leasing initiatives, rent reviews, lease renewals and lease restructures.
- Identifying refurbishment and repositioning opportunities to unlock value.
- Working closely with the in-house development team on refurbishment and redevelopment projects.
- Managing external property managers, agents, valuers and professional advisers.
- Preparing business plans, CapEx forecasts and Board reporting.
- Supporting sustainability initiatives across the portfolio.
- Assisting with acquisitions and integrating newly acquired assets into the portfolio.
About you
We’re interested in speaking with surveyors who are looking to build a long-term career in commercial asset management.
