Role Description The Regional Sales Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Greater London, with a mix of on-site client visits and work from home. This role involves managing sales activities within the region, including generating new business, nurturing leads, and building long-term relationships with residential and commercial clients. The Regional Sales Manager will conduct site visits, prepare proposals and quotations, deliver product presentations, and negotiate contracts aligned with company standards. They will monitor sales performance, maintain accurate records in CRM systems, collaborate closely with installation and operations teams, and provide feedback to improve services and customer experience. The role also includes setting regional sales targets, forecasting, and contributing to local marketing initiatives and partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Proven regional or territory sales experience, ideally within home improvement, landscaping, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships with residential and commercial clients.
  • Competence in preparing proposals, quotations, and contracts with solid negotiation and objection-handling skills.
  • Comfort using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and basic sales reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work, manage a regional schedule, and work independently in a hybrid environment.
  • Willingness to travel within Greater London for client meetings and site visits; valid driver’s license is beneficial.
  • Experience collaborating with operations or installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Knowledge of artificial grass, landscaping, or outdoor living products is an advantage but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity within a sales team is a plus.
  • Relevant education or training in business, sales, or a related field is beneficial.
