Our Team Your Mission
- End-to-end development of the cranktrain, piston assembly and crankcase – from concept to the race track
- Independent definition, planning and execution of engine and component testing (test bench & analysis)
- Performance-driven optimization of friction, wear and mechanical integrity under F1 operating conditions
- Data-driven analysis of test bench, engine and vehicle data to derive technical decisions
- Root-cause analysis of failures down to component and material level, including causal logic and design implications
- Derivation and implementation of design and process improvements in close collaboration with design, simulation and operations
- Technical ownership of rapid concept iteration through to robust series maturity in race conditions
- Clear and precise communication of technical results
Your Profile
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field (preferably with a master’s degree or PhD)
- Several years of experience in the development of high-performance internal combustion engines or F1/motorsport powertrains
- Deep understanding of engine mechanics, tribology, materials, and test bench methodologies
- Proven experience in planning and executing engine and component testing
- Strong analytical capability in complex failure and system interactions
- High standards of technical excellence, speed, and ownership of results
- Structured, independent working style with strong decision-making skills
- Very good German or English language skills (with willingness to actively use the other language)
