Role Purpose
We are seeking a commercially focused and strategically minded Finance Business Partner to support a key client. This role will drive ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and performance management across a centralised cost base, while delivering high-quality financial insight to influence decision-making at a senior level. You will play a pivotal role in transforming financial reporting, bringing greater clarity, forward-looking analysis, and actionable insight to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, budgeting, and reforecasting cycles, ensuring timely, accurate, and insight-driven financial outputs
- Act as a strategic partner to stakeholders, translating financial data into clear recommendations that drive commercial outcomes
- Maintain strong financial governance, including robust assumptions, balance sheet oversight, and proactive management of risks and opportunities
- Deliver high-impact performance reporting, combining detailed analysis with clear, concise, and commercially focused commentary
- Own and present investment cases at governance forums, ensuring rigorous challenge, validation, and alignment to strategic priorities
- Partner closely with FP&A and global cost centre leads to align financial plans and improve visibility of spend drivers
- Provide advanced financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline, standardise, and accelerate reporting and planning cycles
- Enhance reporting frameworks to better track performance against budget/forecast, future spend outlook, and key business risks
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing financial insight and challenge on key projects, investments, and ongoing business activity
