As we continue our expansion throughout in the region, we’re looking for an ambitious Franchise Development Manager to help drive the next phase of our growth.
About the Role
As Franchise Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing prospective franchisees throughout the sales journey—from initial enquiry through to qualification and discovery.
You’ll engage with inbound enquiries, re-activate dormant leads, nurture qualified prospects, and confidently present our franchise opportunities. You’ll also be proactive in generating your own pipeline by networking within the business community, attending events, and identifying new franchise prospects.

Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to all franchise enquiries.
- Qualify prospective franchisees and assess their suitability.
- Present UFG’s franchise opportunities through virtual and face-to-face meetings.
- Re-engage inactive leads and nurture warm prospects through the sales process.
- Generate new leads through networking, referrals, exhibitions, and local business development.
- Conduct discovery meetings and support candidates through the franchise recruitment process.
- Travel with qualified candidates to visit existing franchise locations where appropriate.
- Represent UFG at trade shows, franchise exhibitions, and industry events.

- Passionate about helping entrepreneurs achieve business ownership.
Experience & Requirements
- Proven experience in sales is essential.
- Experience in franchise development or franchising is highly advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK, Ireland, and occasionally internationally.
Location
This is a remote (work-from-home) position based in the UK.
- Applicants should be able to travel to London for internal meetings as required. Regular travel throughout the UK and Ireland—and occasional international travel—will also form part of the role for prospect meetings, franchise tours, exhibitions, conferences, and company events.
