About the Role
This Lending Relationship Manager position is designed as a strategic entry point into a Business Development Manager career path. You’ll work closely with lenders and internal teams, becoming a key link between funding sources and deal flow.
The focus is not just on administration or coordination, it’s about relationship ownership, market exposure, and commercial development. Over time, as systems and training become more automated, you’ll be positioned to step into a BDM role, typically within 12–18 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with a panel of lenders across multiple funding lines
- Upload, maintain, and optimise lender products within internal systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility
- Act as a key point of contact for lender queries and communication
- Attend industry events, lender meetings, and networking opportunities to enhance market presence
- Support the wider team with lender insights, product knowledge, and deal positioning
- Identify opportunities to improve lender engagement and streamline processes
- Develop a strong understanding of the lending landscape to support future progression into a BDM role
Package
- Salary: £35,000 – £38,000
