Role Description The Lettings Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Atherton. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling enquiries from prospective tenants, arranging and conducting property viewings, and providing clear information on available properties and tenancy terms. The role involves advising landlords on rental values, marketing strategies, and tenancy requirements, as well as preparing listings, updating property details, and ensuring accurate documentation. The Lettings Consultant will manage application processes, reference checks, and tenancy agreements, and coordinate move-ins and renewals. The position also requires maintaining regular contact with landlords and tenants, resolving routine queries, and supporting the wider team to ensure smooth office operations and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and in writing.

- Sales and negotiation skills, with confidence in presenting properties, discussing terms, and supporting successful tenancy agreements.
- Attention to detail in preparing documentation, maintaining accurate records, and following lettings procedures and compliance requirements.
- Comfort with basic IT tools and property management or CRM systems, including updating listings and managing contact information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Previous experience in lettings, estate agency, property management, or a customer-facing role is essential.
- Knowledge of local property market trends and lettings regulations in the UK, or a willingness to learn quickly.
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for attending viewings and appointments in the local area is advantageous.
