Job description CNC Operator – Vertiv – Derry/Londonderry Location: Derry/Londonderry Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm | Friday 8am-2:30pmMust be flexible for shifts Mon – Fri 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm and 10pm – 6am Contract: Permanent | Full Time Pay Rate: £ – £ per hr + Shift Allowance + Bonus Scheme + Overtime Staffline Recruitment Ireland is recruiting a CNC Operator on behalf of Vertiv in Derry/Londonderry.This permanent opportunity is ideal for an experienced CNC Operator seeking long-term career progression within a leading manufacturing environment.The RoleYou will play a key role in the manufacture of modular components for Electrical Switchgear systems.Key Responsibilities:Set up, program, and operate CNC Punching and Robotic Bending machines.Manufacture precision components for LV & MV switchgear systems.Adjust machine settings including speeds and feeds based on technical drawings and specifications.Load and unload materials while ensuring dimensional accuracy.Carry out detailed quality inspections against 3D models and engineering drawings.Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC machinery issues.Collaborate with engineering, welding, and assembly teams to meet production targets.Follow all health & safety procedures and PPE requirements.Maintain accurate machine settings, maintenance logs, and production records.Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.Essential CriteriaMinimum 1 year experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.Strong CNC programming, operating, and troubleshooting capability.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.Experience working with sheet metal fabrication processes.Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive approach.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.What’s on Offer£ – £ per hour + shift allowanceBonus schemeOvertime25 days annual leave plus 10 bank holidaysEmployer pension & life assuranceFree onsite parkingTraining and career progressionStaffline Recruitment Ireland is acting as an employment agency on behalf of Vertiv….
