Sales Specialist – Veterinary Diagnostics

Hartmann Young is partnered with an established veterinary diagnostics company, seeking a driven and enthusiastic Sales Specialist to join their Large Animal Diagnostics team in Europe, reporting to the VP Sales.

The role

  • Research and identify new leads and potential customers through multiple channels;
  • Engage with prospects via outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to drive new business opportunities;
  • Nurture leads through the sales process, including quotation follow-ups and next-step coordination;
  • Understand customer needs and match them with suitable products or services;
  • Confidently present, explain, and demonstrate product features and benefits;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions and leads in the CRM system;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to hand over qualified opportunities for further development and closure;
  • Stay informed about product updates and attend internal training sessions;
  • Develop and execute activity plans, track progress, and report on performance.

The person

  • Experience in the veterinary diagnostics sector;
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with a structured approach to work;
  • Practical problem-solver with a proactive, positive mindset;
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments;
  • Confident and approachable communication style;
  • Fluent in English (additional proficiency in French or another European language is a plus);
  • Supportive and cooperative approach when working with the wider Sales team;
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 20%).
