Albion Rye Associates is partnering with a healthcare communications agency looking for an experienced Freelance Account Director with a strong background in Medical Affairs.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established agency team delivering strategic Medical Affairs programmes for leading pharmaceutical clients. The successful candidate will provide senior client leadership, oversee programme delivery, and ensure the successful execution of complex medical communications initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day client relationships and provide strategic counsel to senior stakeholders
- Oversee the planning and delivery of Medical Affairs communications programmes
- Manage multiple projects, budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams
- Ensure the quality and scientific accuracy of medical communications deliverables
- Drive account growth opportunities and support ongoing client development
- Mentor and support junior team members where appropriate
Requirements
- Significant experience within a medical communications agency
- Demonstrable expertise in Medical Affairs programmes and deliverables
- Strong client management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to lead complex accounts and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and compliance requirements
- Available immediately or at short notice
