About the Role

As an Accounts and Outsourcing Senior, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, including individuals and owner-managed businesses. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounts and tax services while supporting the wider team and developing strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring all compliance work is completed to a high standard
  • Preparing accounts for companies, partnerships, LLPs, and sole traders
  • Preparing corporation tax, partnership, and personal tax returns and computations
  • Reviewing VAT returns and advising clients where necessary
  • Using cloud-based accounting software to deliver efficient and accurate reporting
  • Supporting the team by planning workloads, reviewing junior staff output, and mentoring assistants
  • Acting as a key contact for clients, maintaining strong communication and service standards
  • Assisting in business development activities, networking, and identifying opportunities for cross-service collaboration

Requirements

We are looking for a motivated and client-focused professional with a strong background in accountancy and outsourcing.

You will ideally have:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working within an accountancy practice
  • Strong knowledge of cloud accounting systems (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive approach to client service and process improvement
  • A desire to progress within a values-led, sustainability-conscious organisation
