About the Role
As an Accounts and Outsourcing Senior, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, including individuals and owner-managed businesses. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounts and tax services while supporting the wider team and developing strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring all compliance work is completed to a high standard
- Preparing accounts for companies, partnerships, LLPs, and sole traders
- Preparing corporation tax, partnership, and personal tax returns and computations
- Reviewing VAT returns and advising clients where necessary
- Using cloud-based accounting software to deliver efficient and accurate reporting
- Supporting the team by planning workloads, reviewing junior staff output, and mentoring assistants
- Acting as a key contact for clients, maintaining strong communication and service standards
- Assisting in business development activities, networking, and identifying opportunities for cross-service collaboration
Requirements
We are looking for a motivated and client-focused professional with a strong background in accountancy and outsourcing.
You will ideally have:
- ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working within an accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of cloud accounting systems (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive approach to client service and process improvement
- A desire to progress within a values-led, sustainability-conscious organisation
