I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join the delivery team on one of the UK’s largest electricity transmission infrastructure programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of a major overhead line upgrade scheme, managing complex interfaces across multiple projects while overseeing the successful delivery of a mobile substation package.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
⚡ Leading the delivery of a large-scale overhead line project from construction through to commissioning.
⚡ Managing key interfaces between multiple transmission projects, contractors, engineering teams and supply chain partners.
⚡ Overseeing the delivery of a mobile substation project.
⚡ Managing NEC3 contracts, programme, cost, change control and project risks.
⚡ Leading multidisciplinary teams while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and quality.
⚡ Working closely with engineering, commercial, construction, operations and planning teams to ensure successful project delivery.
We’re looking for candidates with:
✔ Experience delivering large-scale transmission, infrastructure or major construction projects.
✔ Ideally (not essential) background in overhead lines, substations or high-voltage infrastructure.
✔ Proven interface management experience across multiple contractors and project teams.
✔ NEC3 contract management experience.
✔ Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
✔ Knowledge of CDM Regulations, HSE legislation and construction project governance.
✔ Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction or Project Management.
