Account Manager
Location: Exeter
Salary: £30,000pa + Bonus
Are you an experienced Account Manager who thrives on building long-term relationships, growing key accounts and delivering exceptional customer experiences?
We’re working with a well-established international business, who are looking to appoint an Account Manager to manage and develop an existing portfolio of valued commercial clients, while identifying new business opportunities.
This is a relationship-led role where you’ll become a trusted advisor to your customers, working collaboratively with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure outstanding service.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing and developing a portfolio of existing commercial accounts.
- Identifying opportunities to grow revenue within existing customers and win new business.
- Building strong relationships with key decision-makers through regular communication, networking and industry events.
- Creating and implementing account growth strategies.
- Acting as the voice of your customers internally to ensure their needs are understood and delivered.
- Monitoring customer satisfaction and driving continuous improvement.
- Keeping up to date with market trends and industry developments.
About You
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in Account Management, Business Development or Commercial Sales.
- A proven ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- A proactive, consultative approach to sales.
- Excellent organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- The ability to analyse commercial performance and identify growth opportunities.
